The Arden Craft Shop Museum is excited to announce a new exhibit: A Taste of Arden.

The Ardens have a great tradition of community and this is never more evident than when we gather around a table to enjoy the company of good fun, good friends and, of course, good food. The ACSM will present cookbooks, recipes, dinnerware, and a look at some fond memories from the Dinner Gild.

Please join us from 1-3 pm on Sunday the 6th to enjoy friends, fellowship, and food.

For the second year in a row, the Arden Craft Shop Museum hosted a group from the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. On March 18th, the group came for a brief lecture on the history of the founding of Arden and a tour of the museum as part of their Hike Through History class.

Linda opened the hall and helped set up. Barbara then gave a brief history of the founding of Arden to the 25 visitors from Osher. Steve Cohen, President of the Arden Club, gave the group an introduction to all the wonderful events and Gilds that are part of the Arden Club. Sadie and Barbara led the group from the Gild Hall to the Village Green and the Arden Craft Shop Museum.

Today, the sun was shining warmly on the Arden Craft Shop Museum, and the first signs of spring were showing in the garden. Snow drops and the tips of daffodils are now visible after the snow melt from winter. These bulbs and others will be blooming in the Craft Shop garden, reminding us of the late Terry Colgan for whom they were planted. We miss her dearly.
